Would you like to place sensors just about anywhere you want, without wiring for power or cabling for data? To move them as needed? To add or reduce the number of nodes easily? These are some of the benefits of wireless mesh network systems from B&B Electronics and Sensicast Systems.

Wireless Mesh Networks

Sensicast’s SensiNet™ platform is the quickest and easiest way to develop and deploy wireless sensor networks. OEMs and integrators can now wirelessly connect sensors, actuators or controllers into a mesh network with little or no effort.

Ideal for asset security, perimeter security, environmental safety, homeland security and other building sensing and control applications, these wireless sensor networks can be inexpensively and rapidly deployed, as there are absolutely no data wiring costs associated with the platform.

Take advantage of our experience in developing and deploying wireless sensor networks for real commercial and industrial applications. SensiNet nodes have long battery lives, long range for penetration of indoor walls, support for a variety of sensor and actuator types, and best of all, an extremely low installed cost.

Look at these Features and Benefits

Bi-Directional Routing for Command and Control. Not only is every message that is sent from a node acknowledged by the system (and will resend if not acknowledged), but the two-way communication nature of the network allows network designers to send calibration commands to sensors, wirelessly trigger relays, or send messages out into the network for display or control of remote devices.

Self-Forming for Quick, Simple Deployment. The H900 allows for the quickest and easiest installation possible. Just look at the LEDs and when they turn green, you know you are in range of one or two other nodes in the system.

Self-Healing for Total Reliability. Built-in redundancy ensures that if a node happens to drop out of the network, messages will automatically route to an alternate node, ensuring reliability and robustness. Battery back-up systems and radio null minimalization through frequency hopping technology are additional measures to ensure total reliability.

Systems Products

For those who are ready to deploy mesh networks immediately, B&B Electronics and Sensicast offer an entire range of end-to-end Systems Products which allow integrators to instantly develop and deploy FCC-approved mesh networks and applications.
