Measuring only 5.1 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm (2.0 x 3.0 x 1.0 inches), it easily connects legacy or new serial devices to your Ethernet network. Installation and configuration is quick and easy with the Vlinx Manager Software provided on CD ROM. The software is compatible with Windows 2000, 2003 Server, XP, and Vista. It is powered from a 12 VDC power supply (included with the unit). Operates in Virtual COM, direct IP, or paired modes.

Wireless Mini Ethernet to RS-232 Converter

For applications where running cable is not an option, Model ES1AWB combines wireless data networking with proven asynchronous connectivity. Transparently connects, configures, and communicates with serial devices over 802.11b Wi-Fi wireless connections.

Compact size is a major feature. Tiny case is just 1.5 x 2.1 x 3.4 in (3.8 x 5.4 x 8.5 cm). Antenna extends 4.4 in (11.2 cm), folding 90 degrees at 1.2 in (3cm) from the case. Antenna included, reverse SMA connector. Power Supply, 5VDC included.
