Shareware Serial Troubleshooting Tool SIMPTERM is a simple shareware tool that can be used to troubleshoot RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 serial communications. It allows up to four ports, at any address and IRQ, to be opened at any given time.It also supports monitor mode which allows SIMPTERM to monitor communciations between two other devices. Monitor mode requires two free serial ports and a cabling adapter such as the Model 232MMA or 485SLAA. You can evaluate SIMPTERM by downloading it.
