This ISA card, model 232CC2B, can be set for any address (0 to 3F8h) and any available interrupt (2-7, 10-12, 14 & 15). This feature allows more than COM 1-4 to be installed in your machine, and with Enhanced Address Decoding, the risk of hardware conflicts is greatly minimized. For applications where 115.2kbps baud isn't fast enough, the 232CC series now includes the Double Clock Speed feature which, when enabled, effectively doubles the baud rates set in software, providing communications at baud rates up to 230.4kbps baud. The 232CC series comes with male DB9 connectors. No drivers are required for the 232CC series.
