J1939 is a new, high-speed protocol used primarily in heavy equipment, truck, and bus control systems. Model 1939STB is the hardware link needed to connect these vehicles to your PC. The PC side has a DB9 female connector. The vehicle side has terminal blocks. LEDs indicate power on and data traffic. Streamlined case is 2.7 x 5.1 x .9 in (7.0 x 12.5 x 2.4 cm). Cables to connect to standard SAE 6 or 9 pin circular connectors are available. Leads are stripped and tinned.
