Advantech ADAM 4000 & 6000 series remote data acquisition and control systems

96-bit digital I/O card
96-bit digital I/O card for the PCI bus. The card emulates mode 0 of the 8255 PPI chip, but has buffered circuitry to offer a higher driving capability than the 8255. The 96 I/O lines are divided into twelve 8-bit I/O ports: A0, B0, C0, A1, B1, C1, A2, B2, C2, A3, B3 and C3. Users can configure each port as input or output via software.

The PCL-10168-2 shielded cable is specially designed for use with the PCI-1710, PCI-1711 and PCI-1731 data acquisition cards to reduce noise in the analog signal lines. Its wires are all twisted pairs, and the analog lines and digital lines are separately shielded.
